Flooring Installation in Lakewood Ranch, FL
Luxury vinyl plank, epoxy, and concrete floor coatings for homes and commercial properties in Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota, Bradenton, and Longboat Key. Installed over properly prepared surfaces, by the same crew that handles your trim and paint.
Overview
A Floor Project Starts With What Is Underneath
Every floor project depends on the surface below it. Cracks, old coatings, oil stains, and moisture in a concrete slab all affect how a new floor holds up. LVP laid over an uneven subfloor shows every ridge. So we look at what’s underneath before recommending anything.
Luxe Painting & Remodeling installs luxury vinyl plank and applies epoxy and concrete coatings across Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota, Bradenton, and Longboat Key. New floors usually mean new transitions and base, so the same crew handles baseboard and trim repairs as part of the job.
One Google reviewer describes a stairway we refinished with a 2K commercial coating instead of a full replacement. That’s the approach: recommend the fix the surface actually needs, not the biggest invoice.

Flooring options
Flooring options we can help with
Repairing damaged flooring, preparing worn surfaces, and improving existing floors before applying a new finish.
Luxury Vinyl Plank Installation
Water-resistant LVP for homes, rentals, and commercial interiors. We assess the existing surface, prepare the installation area, and plan transitions and edges for a clean, consistent result.
Carpet Tile Installation
Garage and utility slabs cleaned, prepped, and coated with epoxy systems. We assess the concrete, do the preparation, and give you the coating options and the return-to-use schedule in plain terms.
Commercial Floor Coatings
Durable coatings for back-of-house, storage, and service areas, applied in phases or after hours so your business keeps running.
Concrete Coatings
Suitable interior concrete floors finished with a coating selected for the space and how it’s used. Preparation and product depend on the existing surface.
Floor Preparation and Self-Leveling
Suitable substrates prepared before installation or coating: residue removed, minor surface defects addressed, and the slab checked so the new floor has something sound to sit on.
In detail
Why Surface Preparation Decides the Result
Most coating failures aren’t the coating. They’re the surface under it: oil that keeps epoxy from bonding, loose old paint that peels and takes the new coat with it, cracks that telegraph through, and slab moisture that pushes a finish off from below.
So preparation gets the time: degrease and clean, strip loose or failing coatings, repair cracks and pits, check moisture where it matters, and only then apply. We also give you honest cure times, because a floor opened to traffic too early fails early.
Key points
- Degreasing and cleaning to remove oil and residue
- Loose or failing old coatings stripped, not coated over
- Cracks and pits repaired before coating
- Slab moisture checked before coatings go down
- Clear cure times before foot and vehicle traffic

How a Flooring Project Comes Together
01
Free Consultation
We look at the existing floor, the slab or subfloor, and how the space gets used, and put the estimate in writing.

LVP installed with planned transitions, or coatings applied at the right thickness in the right conditions.
05
Final Review
You walk the floor with us, get care guidance in writing, and touch-ups happen before we call it done.

FAQ
Flooring questions
Have a question that is not covered here? Call or send a message and we will get back to you.
What kind of flooring do you offer?
Luxury vinyl plank installation and floor coatings: epoxy, concrete, and commercial coating systems. If your project needs a flooring type we don’t install, we’ll tell you straight instead of improvising.
Can epoxy go over a cracked garage floor?
Hairline cracks get repaired and filled as part of preparation, then coated. Larger structural cracking gets an honest assessment first, because coating over a moving crack just prints the crack into the new floor.
How long before I can use the floor?
It depends on the product, and we tell you before we start, not after. Coatings need set cure times before foot traffic and longer before vehicles. LVP can usually be walked on as soon as the room is back together.
Does moisture in the slab matter?
Yes, more than anything else. Moisture pushing up through concrete will lift a coating from below, so we check for it before recommending a system.
Can floor work be part of a larger remodel?
That’s where it works best. Floors, baseboards, trim, drywall, and paint sequenced as one project by one crew, so nobody’s new floor gets painted on.
